Warranty Statement

Mammotion Technik GmbH, Monschauer Str. 1, 40549 Düsseldorf, Germany ("Mammotion") warrants you that the products listed in the table below ("Product") are free from defects in material and workmanship for the period specified in each case ("Warranty Period") in accordance with the following provisions of the respective Product. You can only claim warranty services in accordance with the following provisions in the country where you have purchased and use the product ("territorial scope of the warranty"). The warranty is limited to countries where the product was officially sold and distributed by Mammotion. It does not cover products used outside of these intended markets.

This warranty applies solely to mass-produced units sold through official channels and does not extend to any devices obtained for internal testing, evaluation, or through non-public distribution.
In addition to the rights under this statement, the customer is entitled to statutory rights to legal warranty under the applicable law. Nothing in this statement limits your statutory rights to legal warranty under the applicable law.

The warranty applies under the following conditions:

  • The product shows a defect within the warranty period specified in the table, which is based on a material and/or processing defect. A defect exists if the actual quality of the product deviates from the agreed quality.
  • You assert the warranty within the warranty period specified in the table and follow the procedure described below. 
  • The product or product part is not excluded from the warranty (see below).

The following procedure applies to the assertion of the warranty :

  • For assistance in claiming the warranty, please contact the customer service team. It can be reached via chat, the hotline and by email.
  • If you have ordered the product from a local dealer , please contact the local dealer first. A local dealer is a dealer or sales partner based in the country in which you purchased the product. They will inform you about the further procedure. Should the local dealer be unable to assist, you may contact Mammotion as an alternative.
  • To contact the customer service team, please have a valid proof of purchase (sales receipt or invoice) with the date of purchase and the serial number of the product. If you have purchased the product from an official Mammotion store (https://uk.mammotion.com/) or a store operated by Mammotion itself ("Mammotion direct sales"), the order number is sufficient as proof of purchase.
  • The customer service team will carry out an initial fault diagnosis and provide you with solutions. For this purpose, the customer service team may ask you to download or install certain software updates. Please follow any instructions given by the customer service team. If the fault cannot be rectified, please send the product to the service station specified by the customer service team.
  • Use the original carton and the original packaging material of the product for shipping or provide equivalent packaging and equivalent packaging material. Pack the product in such a way that any damage caused by improper packaging during transportation is avoided ( e.g. by providing sufficient padding ). Mammotion is not liable for damage caused by improper packaging during transportation.
  • Mammotion will bear the shipping costs, unless Mammotion determines that the product is not under warranty after checking  the product. Mammotion will then provide you with a free shipping label that you can use for shipping.

The warranty applies to the following products within the specified period:

The warranty period starts from the date of the first purchase from Mammotion or a dealer listed as a dealer on the Mammotion website (" authorized Mammotion dealer"). The date is indicated on the sales receipt or invoice. If you have purchased the product via Mammotion direct sales and the date of first purchase on the sales receipt or invoice is not legible or verifiable, the warranty period begins with the activation of the product. For products that can be ordered before the official release or availability ("pre-ordered products"), the warranty period begins on the date of shipment from the respective warehouse. The shipping date can be found in the shipping confirmation that you receive by e-mail. The warranty period ends at the end of the period specified in the table below under "Limited Warranty Period"

The warranty period for separately purchased accessories is specified in Appendix 1.

Excluded from the warranty are

  • The following wearing parts: Decorative elements, cutting blades, tires, cutting discs, charging cables, grass catcher bags and rotating roller brushes.However, Mammotion will provide a free replacement of the aforementioned wearing parts within 30 days of purchase if the defect is due to material or workmanship flaws.
  • Superficial defects, such as scratches or dents, unless the defect is due to a material or processing fault.
  • Defects caused by use of the product that does not comply with the instructions in the user manual or the types of use specified therein.
  • If the defect is based on the fact that the product or the product part has been modified without the consent of Mammotion (e.g. B . if you replace the Wheel Hub Motor without the consent of Mammotion).
  • Product packaging, consumables and decorative accessories.
  • Defects resulting from accidents, fires, earthquakes, food or liquid spills, incorrect electrical charging or other external causes.
  • Defects in the product caused by transportation but for which the product was not rejected on delivery or for which the logistics company does not issue a damage certificate.
  • Defects that are due to service work that was not carried out by Mammotion or an authorized Mammotion dealer.
  • If the proof of purchase (sales receipt or invoice) is missing or there are reasonable indications of forgery or manipulation.
  • If the model number, serial number or product labels have been changed, removed or made illegible.

In the event of a warranty claim, Mammotion proceeds as follows:

Mammotion will check whether the product is still within the valid warranty period.
In the event of a warranty claim within the valid warranty period, Mammotion will repair or replace the product or product part free of charge at its own discretion. Spare parts may be new and/or used. In any case, they must be at least functionally equivalent to the product or product part for which you are claiming under the warranty. If Mammotion replaces a product or product part, the replacement item becomes your property and the product or product part that is replaced becomes the property of Mammotion. Unless otherwise required by the applicable law, the repair or replacement under warranty does not extend or restart the warranty period. Instead, the respective product is subject to the remaining warranty period of the original product.
If the product is not within the valid warranty period, Mammotion will inform you of this. You must inform Mammotion whether you will cover the cost of the repair (including the cost of materials, labor and shipping). If you do not cover the costs, Mammotion will return the product to you without repair or replacement.
